Company to increase automation and information exchange for a more connected agency distribution channel
Tampa, FL – Jan. 21, 2016 – IVANS Insurance Solutions, a division of Applied Systems, today announced that Consumers Insurance USA, an affiliate of The Motorists Insurance Group, has migrated its download services to IVANS from their legacy delivery system to improve reliability, security and data of information exchanged to their agency partners.
"Download continues to present a huge opportunity for both our business and our agent partners to further automate information exchange, saving time and expense manually managing the process," said Tom Campana, assistant vice president of Customer Experience, The Motorists Insurance Group. "By expanding our larger company-wide download initiative via IVANS, we remain committed to driving efficiency and greater ease of doing business through a more connected distribution channel."
IVANS is the industry standard for connectivity and data exchange between carriers and independent agencies in the property and casualty insurance industry. IVANS Download automates the generation and delivery of ACORD transactions, including personal and commercial lines policy, claims, ACORD eDocs and ACORD Messages and other policyholder-related information from carriers to agencies and MGAs based on the latest ACORD data standards, enabling carriers and agencies focus more on the business of insurance by improving productivity through automated exchange of information. IVANS Download drives a more connected distribution network for carriers, MGAs, and agencies to increase automated exchange of expanded product offerings for greater growth and enhanced customer service.
"A recent IVANS industry survey found that nearly 95 percent of agents realize significant time savings when using download services, as well as experience increased ease of doing business with carrier partners," said Thad Bauer, vice president and general manager, IVANS Insurance Solutions. "IVANS Download enables The Motorists Insurance Group and Consumers Insurance USA to increase connectivity and automate information exchange for their agent partners, driving operational efficiency internally and a better agent experience to support future growth."
