Epic Insurance Solutions previously managed its business with multiple, disparate systems, causing many hours to be spent on manual, administrative processes. “Historically our accounting had been processed separately for P&C and Benefits,” said Duane Ray, vice president, Epic Insurance Solutions. “The accounting for benefits was done in a spreadsheet and then entered manually.” The agency also lost time to manual processes within their customer relationship management (CRM) tool that sat outside of the management system. “We previously had a CRM tool to report sales goals and numbers,” said Ray. “Because dual entry was required between the CRM tool and the management system, up-to-date information was an issue.
