At our annual Applied Net® user conference last month, our executives unveiled a number of cool innovations across our entire product portfolio during the main stage keynotes. These enhancements were designed to unlock greater business value for you – from equipping your agency with tools to attract new talent to providing you with more connectivity to clients and partners and giving you the insights you need to work smarter – and help you prepare for the Next Generation of Insurance. While our industry’s greatest asset is and always will be the great people who work in it, now more than ever, you need the power of technology to work harder for you.

Introducing Next-Generation Tech

With so much newness, it’s hard to pick one thing we’re most excited about, so we chose four. Here’s a glimpse of some of our biggest product and feature announcements that will excite you, too!

  • AI-Powered Email Summarization

Manually entering notes for email Activities in Applied Epic® is a time-consuming yet necessary task – until now. We’re bringing in generative AI technology to summarize an email into an Activity note when attached in Applied Epic, accomplishing the goal of a complementary note in the activity (which you’ve repeatedly asked for), with the bonus that the user doesn’t need to write the note, only verify that the AI tool summarized it to their liking.

  • Epic Quotes Commercial Lines

Commercial quoting is a friction-filled process, and rekeying data across multiple platforms makes it more inefficient. To cure this headache, we embedded the great one-to-many commercial quoting capabilities of Tarmika™ directly into Applied Epic for an all-new Epic Quotes Commercial Lines! Now, you can remarket commercial lines risks and start new business quotes without leaving the management system, making it easier than ever to quote more and increase the profitability of your commercial book.

  • Embedded Premium Financing

Applied Pay® has been taking the legwork out of premium collection and processing for almost three years, and it’s about to get even better. We’ve partnered with AFCO Direct, First Insurance Funding and Imperial PFS to integrate financing as a payment method in the insured checkout workflow to provide easy financing options for your clients and increase financed premiums (aka profits) for you.

  • Applied Book Builder

Prospecting and renewal inefficiency, especially across the diverse commercial lines market, leads to reactive selling and missed revenue. Identifying the right lines to sell requires a detailed understanding of customer risks and exposures, and finding markets with the right appetite can be time-consuming. Applied Book Builder™ leverages the power of AI to enrich commercial risk profiles based on thousands of publicly available sources, saving hours of manual research. Embedded in Applied Epic, these commercial risk insights and intelligent account rounding recommendations accelerate renewal and new business growth.
