The Applied Systems® Symposium, held at Hôtel Monville in Montréal, focused on the evolving intersection of technology and business strategy in the brokerage channel. It provided participants a unique opportunity to engage with industry peers and the Applied Canada team, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the Canadian broker channel, and leave with practical takeaways for continued growth and learning.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and made the event special. Let's review some of the key topics covered:

How to best integrate AI into your strategy: Deloitte led a session on aligning AI principles with broader business objectives. Attendees took home a framework for evaluating AI opportunities and a better understanding of how strategic integration can create sustainable value.

Our investments in AI will be made throughout the entire ecosystem of what we call the digital insurance lifecycle, whether for policy management, connectivity with your insurers, or sales and marketing.

Panda 7's AI strategy success story: Digital brokerage ambassador Noel Feghali from Panda 7 shared with attendees how a clear vision with the right technology has translated into measurable results for both client satisfaction and team performance.

Business intelligence with Epic Dashboards: Participants learned the importance of business intelligence in identifying growth opportunities and improving decision-making. They also learned tips for unlocking the full potential of data management from their systems.

Applied Marketing Automation: This session showed participants how Applied Marketing Automation® helps brokerages strengthen their brand presence, streamline campaign execution, and boost lead generation by leveraging smart automation and curated content.

Workflows for Epic commercial lines: We took a deep dive into commercial lines workflows and highlighted the strongest strategies to improve efficiency and connectivity across platforms. This included the best practices for certificate management within the Canadian market.

What's new at Applied: Our product experts took the stage to showcase exciting updates across our suite of solutions. This included explaining new features in Applied Epic®, Applied Pay®, and Applied CSR24® – all products designed to deliver greater value to brokerages and enhance user experience.

How to maximize your technology strategy: Participants listened and engaged in a lively session that provided actionable tips and lesser-known features within Applied Epic. They walked away with lessons on how to get the most out of their investments and optimize their day-to-day operations.

After a full day of learning, the event finished with a networking reception to give attendees another opportunity to connect with each other. Conversations flowed as people shared insights and experiences sparked from the day's activities. This event demonstrated the vital role of technology in shaping modern brokerages.

It was a fantastic opportunity to offer practical tools to enhance operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, client engagement, and more. We're excited about what the future holds for this industry and very grateful to share it with a forward-thinking, ambitious community. Stay tuned for more events and opportunities to learn and grow together.
