AXA Signs Software Deal to Further Extend Access of e-Traded Products

02 March 2015

Deal makes AXA’s e-traded property owners’ and tradesmen products available to brokers on the Applied TAM system

London, UK – 2 March 2015 – AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has signed an agreement with broker software provider, Applied Systems, to distribute its online SME products on the Applied TAM system.

The deal will make AXA’s e-traded property owners’ and tradesmen products available to brokers using the system with further products to follow as well as the insurer’s new mini-fleet product, currently in the latter stages of development.

Applied Systems is currently working with AXA to make the products live to brokers on the Applied TAM system by end of the second quarter of this year.

Jason Bridgman, Head of e-Commerce at AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary, said: "AXA is committed to making it as easy as possible for brokers to trade with us and a significant aspect of that is the strength of our e-trading capabilities."

"We have a very strong online offering for brokers’ SME customers, one that we are continually enhancing and expanding upon and this agreement with Applied Systems is another important element of that."

Jeff Purdy, Senior Vice President of International Operations at Applied Systems, added: "The introduction of additional AXA products to our commercial lines application furthers our company’s commitment to increasing brokers’ insurer connectivity and product choices for UK clients to fuel business growth."
