Applied Systems Releases Applied Epic 2020

Latest release of the world’s most widely-used management system further enhances automation and expands benefits capabilities

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. – May 26, 2020 – Applied Systems® today announced the general global release of Applied Epic® 2020. The latest release of Applied Epic enables brokers to automate additional accounting workflows, while expanding customer communication management for UK brokers.

Key enhancements in the latest release of Applied Epic include:

  • Accounting: Further automates default commission agreement capabilities to expedite the renewal process, as well as provides two new annualized premium calculations for more accurate reporting for policies with terms greater or less than one year.
  • Leads Inbox: Enables brokers to import into Applied Epic leads obtained from marketing automation tools, aggregators and websites to create accounts, policies and activities. 
  • Quoting: Allows brokers to configure distinct Broker and Insurer fees, as well as their taxes, and assign Insurer fees to a single rate in Quote Results. This ensures brokers can identify fees of different types accurately when quoting, raise them against the appropriate schemes, and raise the appropriate tax transactions for insurer fees.
