Certified Integration Partnership enables insured payment plans for Applied Epic brokerages

Mississauga, ON – Oct. 17, 2018 – FIRST Insurance Funding of Canada (FIRST Canada), the industry leader in insurance payment solutions, and Applied Systems are proud to announce that FIRST Canada is now an Applied Integration Partner.

FIRST Canada’s certified integration allows Applied Epic users the ability to provide broker-specific payment plans along with the policy proposal, directly from within Applied Epic. As the only financing partner of Applied Systems in Canada, Applied Systems and FIRST Canada jointly deliver a broker-centric workflow that improves operational efficiency and reduces administrative costs, while enhancing the client experience.

“Payments are a critical part of the brokers’ offering. Including a seamless way to pay with their policy proposals provides brokers a competitive advantage and improves their cash management,” stated Stuart Bruce, CEO FIRST Canada.

Applied Epic delivers the most technologically advanced software application to independent insurance brokerages to enable faster growth and profitability in a changing insurance marketplace. Applied Epic is a single, integrated and open application that provides essential capabilities for each stakeholder within a brokerage to better manage customer relationships, sales opportunities, financial accounting and policy, and benefits administration across all lines of business, eliminating the need for separate, disparate systems. The application offers a comprehensive view of client and prospect information and internal workflows through an intuitive user interface, enabling users to make more informed decisions about their business and capitalize quickly on new opportunities. Applied Epic’s scalable software architecture provides brokerages with multiple locations the ability to manage expansion and business growth with ease.

“We are proud to expand the Applied Partner Program to include premium financing in Canada,” said Jeff Purdy, senior vice president, International Operations. “Through our partnership, FIRST Canada offers Applied brokerages seamless data exchange to minimize the risk of errors and omissions and ensure exceptional client experiences through the ability to provide insured payment plans. We look forward to the mutual benefit this partnership with FIRST Canada will bring to our customers and the independent insurance brokerage channel.”
