InVEST Announces 2018 Randy Roth Applied Memorial Scholarship Winner

Scholarship supports the development of next-generation insurance leaders
University Park, IL – August 6, 2018 – InVEST, a school-to-work insurance program that partners with high school and college educators to provide an in-depth insurance curriculum for students, is proud to announce that the 2018 Randy Roth Applied Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to Nishka Ahuja from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Established in 2017, the scholarship is in memory of Applied Systems’ former Director of Talent Acquisition and is awarded each year to a graduating, exemplary high school student with the expressed intent of establishing a career in the insurance industry. The honor embodies many of Team Applied’s core values that Mr. Roth represented – always doing the right thing, exceeding expectations and setting high standards by which others aspire to follow.
Beginning in fall 2018, Ms. Ahuja will be studying at Carnegie Mellon University where she intends to focus her studies on actuarial science and risk management.
As a longstanding partner of InVEST, Applied is dedicated to supporting the development and growth of future insurance professionals, and this scholarship serves as a tribute to Mr. Roth’s passion and enthusiasm for bringing talent to the insurance industry.
