June 26, 2018
Latest release for online self-service quoting software to enhance lead management and further automate consumer quoting process
Mississauga, ON – June 26, 2018 – Applied Systems® today announced the latest release of Applied WebRater®, Canada's leading brokerage-branded online customer self-service quoting solution. Applied WebRater 2018 R2 enhances brokerages’ lead management processes and further extends online self-service capabilities to drive new business opportunities.
As part of Applied Rating Services brokerage suite, Applied WebRater increases brokerage productivity through automated collection of prospects’ underwriting, rating, and consumer information, which is easily imported from a consumer desktop or mobile device into Applied AutoRater® and Applied PropertyRater®, reducing time spent on manual entry of information. Applied WebRater also provides a lead generation tool branded for the broker to increase new business opportunities and drive growth.
Key enhancement includes:
- iClarify/Applied ITV® integration: Expanding the Opta Information Intelligence partnership, receive more accurate leads when consumers enter their legal address and retrieve documented building evaluation data, including Year Built, Construction Type, Structure Type, Distance to Fire Hall and Hydrant, as well as provides the building replacement cost for more accurate quoting.
- Text field recommendations: Displays hints in all free-form text fields, as well as other select fields, to provide prospects guidance regarding the expected input for those fields.
- Lead channel tracking: Creates tagged links to track the original lead source. Lead origination details are subsequently included in the client memo section in Applied Rating Services and the broker lead notification email.
- Partial lead management: Receive prospective leads upon offers page display and web session expiry to stay as connected to new sales opportunities as possible.
“Statistics show that consumers are shifting to online channels for insurance research and comparative quotes prior to connecting directly with a broker,” said Jeff Purdy, senior vice president of International Operations, Applied Systems. “The latest release of Applied WebRater enables brokerages to provide advanced omnichannel customer experiences and further streamline the quoting process to quickly close new business while providing superior service.”
