Applied Systems Issues Statement in Court Ruling for a Preliminary Injunction
February 11, 2026
CHICAGO – February 11, 2026 – We are pleased by the Court’s decision to grant Applied a Preliminary Injunction, which is a court order designed to stop someone from doing something that would cause irreparable harm. This is the first significant decision in this litigation, and it strongly validates the position we have held from the beginning: Comulate fraudulently and unlawfully accessed Applied’s technologies to accelerate their product development. A preliminary injunction is an extraordinary remedy not usually granted, and it shows the court’s recognition of the need to protect Applied from further serious harm.
The court granted our request that Comulate, within 7 days of the order:
- Stop using the information obtained through their fake agency, PBC Consulting; and
- Stop distributing any products that were developed, tested, or trained using Applied’s information to new customers.
We are focused on the next phase of the case and working with our customers to manage the transition with minimal business disruption in advance of the June 30, 2026 deadline.
