Humber College trains future brokers on Applied Epic
Hands-on experience with industry-leading technology gets graduates contributing from day one.
Summary
Bridging the talent gap in the broker channel
Humber College’s Insurance Management - Property and Casualty program prepares career changers, recent grads, and newcomers to Canada for entry-level broker roles. Developed in partnership with Applied Systems and a broker advisory committee of leading Canadian brokerages, the program trains students directly on Applied Epic, so graduates enter the workforce with real hands-on experience on the same industry-leading technology they’ll use on the job.
Humber Associate Dean John McNeil calls the partnership with Applied “a game-changer.” 70% of graduates go directly into broker channel roles, and many receive multiple job offers.
